Video Editor Intern

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and driven Video Editor Intern to join our team. This is a full-time internship (not a full-time job) designed for individuals with 6 months to 1.5 years of experience who are passionate about visual storytelling. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, engaging, and trend-driven reels that capture attention and drive audience engagement. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a sense of rhythm, and a desire to see your work go viral, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Reel Creation: Edit and deliver high-quality, attractive reels and short-form video content tailored for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts and similar kind of platform.
• Creative Storytelling: Transform raw footage into compelling narratives through clever pacing, transitions, and sound design.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with social media trends, viral music, and editing styles to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
• Graphic Integration: Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to enhance the overall aesthetic of the videos.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all video output meets brand standards, including color grading, audio leveling, and export settings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to brainstorm ideas and execute visual strategies.
• Feedback Loop: Implement feedback from stakeholders quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in video editing (internships or freelance projects included).
• Software Proficiency: Strong command over editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with mobile editing apps (CapCut, VN) for quick turnarounds is a plus.
• Design Sense: A solid understanding of framing, color theory, and typography.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with various video formats, aspect ratios, and compression standards for social media.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing your ability to create high-impact reels is mandatory.

Compensation & Terms

• Nature of Role: Full-Time Internship.
• Duration: 3 months.
• Stipend: ₹5,000 per month.
• Location: Remote
